An information meeting was held on Friday, May 26, 2023, at the new Ouled Azouz economic activity zone (ZAE), on the process of relocating production units identified as being at risk in this zone.
The meeting, chaired by the Wali of the Casablanca-Settat region and representatives of the regional delegations for industry, commerce and state-owned property, was attended by the Governor of the Province of Nouaceur, the delagted contracting authority (Casa Aménagement) and other regional players, a presentation was made of the units allocated to the new Ouled Azouz economic activity zone to house the units identified as being at risk, as well as the facilities and procedures to be followed in order to benefit from them.
On this occasion, the region's wali noted that this was an important day to present a model zone designed to help Moroccan companies work under good conditions. He also pointed out that this program aims to create four industrial zones for economic activities, with a budget of 500 million dirhams, as well as an envelope of 50 million dirhams allocated to accompany and support the targeted production units during their relocation.
